Application & Eligibility Process
To begin the leasing process, all applicants must complete the SEB Housing questionnaire to join the waitlist. If your household is found eligible, SEB Housing will contact you with next steps and you will begin the screening and documentation process when a home becomes available.
Complete SEB Questionnaire
Applicants must first request an application and complete the Waiting List Elegibility Screening through SEB Housing. When a home becomes available, SEB Housing will review your submission and contact eligible applicants with instructions to begin the next steps in the leasing and screening process.
Income Verification Upon SEB Invitation
If SEB Housing determines your household may be eligible, you will be contacted to begin the screening process. At that time, you may be asked to provide current income documentation, such as recent pay stubs, benefit letters, gross income statements, liquid funds, or other proof of household income. All required documents must be authenticated.
Supporting Documentation
During the full application review, applicants may be asked to provide additional records that support household eligibility, such as W-2 forms, federal tax returns with schedules and attachments, Rent Share Letters if applicable, or other documents requested by SEB Housing.
Asset Verification
If requested during the screening process, applicants must provide documentation for applicable assets including checking, savings, trust accounts, Venmo/PayPal/Cash App statements, CDs, savings bonds, 401(k), IRA, mutual funds, stocks, and investment land.
Additional Requirements
Additional documentation, proof of income, credit screening, or criminal screening may be required based on your household’s specific situation during the full application review process.
Helpful Tip: Complete the SEB Housing questionnaire first. If eligible, SEB Housing will contact you directly with the next steps for screening and documentation.
